• Just a thought Michael Moore can demand in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up faster...

• OK, I'm fine with disarming the police, as long as they issue guns to EVERY CITIZEN, and ONLY CITIZENS, in the US, along with a years supply of ammo, open carry permits, and the right to shoot any criminal they encounter.
  That would make me start to feel better about all this crap.

  • I am sure one of us could fine Michael Moore Jaywalking to get to an all you can eat buffet. And at that point Jaywalking would be a felony crime. Boom! just be careful Jaba doesn't drop on a bridge or something. It would collapse.

• Michael Moore needs to be switched.

• I don't know who is more batshit crazy. Him or Cher. Buffet Boy needs concentrate on eating till he looks more like Jaba the hut, and Cher needs to concentrate on screwing young guys. Leave the common sense stuff to the rest of us.

  Maybe old lard ass heard about the two Houston men, with CC permits, who shot and killed two fools who tried to rob them. Two separate incidents, only hours apart, and the cops were called later. The law is already saying the shootings were justified, as they should, and by Texas law this will be the end of it. And that is as it should be. A man has the right to defend himself and his property from criminals and if that criminal ends up dead? Oh well.

  Maybe Moore was being sarcastic in his remarks about our 2nd amendment but this article from Houston shows exactly why we have it.

  And by guns in "our" homes, does Moore mean that he is a gun-owner? How can that be? Doesn't Moore believe that only redneck, TEA party, right-wing, extremist, Christian nut-jobs are gun-owners? (I forgot biggoted, racist, homophobes).

• I say we disarm his body guards and the cops in his neighborhood. We then let the thugs out and put them in his neighborhood and see if he's still game.

• Someone tell Fat Mike that Freddie Gray wasn't shot. He must've missed that part, or maybe the Daily Kos didn't mention it.

• At least give him credit for showing a glimmer of understanding of the 2nd amendment.

  Though that is more than cancelled out by a total lack of understanding of reality. Not everyone has a gun. So if someone without a gun in the house is in need of a person with a gun, what do they do? Mr. Moore, are you proposing that everyone with a gun in the house is now deputized, and has the right (or obligation?) to go and exert deadly force on behalf of a neighbor?

  Somehow I think this is a veiled attempt at using (what he feels is) absurdity to illustrate (what he feels is) the absurd. What he is trying to say is just how absurd it is that so many people have guns in the first place. We are supposed to see just how ridiculous that is by imagining a disarmed police, and then "coming to our senses", realizing that all those guns did not prevent the riots.

    • What you are both missing is the fact that as a Marxist progressive he has absolutely no critical thinking skills, because if he did, he'd be a conservative, but instead he's just your garden variety traitor and much in need of a good neck stretching.

It's more of the stimulus-response type of barking that people like Moore have a penchant for. I'm sure you've had these kinds of conversations -

        It's automatic. Paint you with the insane extremist brush AND shift the argument from the facts of the debate to a semantic argument about your choice of words, or to something of a "do you still beat your wife" sort of pissing contest. But it's not that they actually think about it and decide to do this. It's a Pavlov's dog response for most of them.
