Michael Savage on George Zimmerman: ‘You have to find this man guilty’ [AUDIO]

Michael Savage on George Zimmerman: ‘You have to find this man guilty’ [AUDIO] For a guy who constantly tells his readers how smart he is, we have to wonder. In this case the gun has no safety (DA Only), who wears a gun for defense that doesn’t have a round in the chamber besides a moron and where did Michael Weiner leave his brain?

  • Does Savage know that most revolvers have one "in the pipe" (the ability to pull the trigger and fire) as well?

So the mere act of having a revolver is tantamount to looking to kill someone.

    • "So the mere act of having a revolver is tantamount to looking to kill someone."

This seems to be a general end that the left is seeking to brainwash the public into thinking in the campaign to repeal the second amendment. The case is among other things just another opportunity to chip away at everyone's rights.

  • Yesterday when this was posted on IHTM Michael Savage was heralding the soundtrack of his ignorant diatribe on his website. Now, one day later, he has apparently realized he made a fool of himself and has removed the offending link. No apology though.

  • I liked Savage at one point and even bought one of his books. I was watching his show on MSNBC when he said a gay caller should die of AIDS and knew instantaneously he was done there. He was insulting towards Santorum in 2012 and that did it for me. Even though I agree with him on most things, his manner is so off-putting. He should listen to Rush and learn a little bit about the appeal of charm.

    • The ONLY thing I agree with "Savage" on is Rick Santorum. Santorum is a self-absorbed egomaniac that is utterly enthralled with the sound of his own voice.

    • Wow... well it seems that it makes sense why he is banned from England. I tried to listen to a radio broadcast and he was so irritating that I never got into him.

      • Okay Kimmy: I don't tweet so I cant follow you, however I just GOTTA say....I really, REALLY like that particular avi.

  • Apparently, Savage believes the same media he spends hours debunking every week as liars spewing non-factual crap. Who knew?

    • "You can fool some of the people some of the time....."
What an embarrassment. No wonder "The Great One" speaks so lowly of him. Who knew, besides Levin?

  • Wow, Savage make an ass of himself on this one. Not just the safety thing - which is a straight-out factual error - but also the 911 call. The idea that Zimmerman used the "n" word has been thoroughly debunked.

Now: will Savage apologize or will he commit himself to being a typical dumbass member of the dishonest mainstream media?

    • Okay, a third error: he says Zimmerman should be convicted of manslaughter. Zimmerman can't be convicted of manslaughter because he was not charged with manslaughter. Duh.

Anybody hear whether Savage has apologized yet?

      • JP, manslaughter is a lesser included offense, meaning the actions of what would characterize manslaughter would be present in all murder charges, just like a simple battery or aggravated battery probably would be also, depending on state law. At the end of all evidence the defense will move for certain charges to be dismissed, which this wussy judge will ignore, and at that time either the jury instructions will or will not include was is referred to as "step-down" instructions, where if the jury cannot find guilt on the higher charge, then they must consider lesser charges. If I were the defense, I wouldn't ask for a step down, make the state win or lose on the higher 2nd degree murder. If the jury follows the law, they should find him not guilty in less than a hour.

      • That's what I thought too, JP, though someone on cable said they could convict him of a lesser manslaughter charge, so I don't know.

    • Savage is all about Savage. I'd say perhaps he fits the definition of megalomaniac or narcissist, or both.

"As an owner of the Kel-Tec PF9, I can say that Savage (whom I normally generally like) is a fool. There is no safety on this weapon. It has a 2 stage trigger with a long and heavy trigger pull. This acts as a "safety" and is the most common trigger on concealed carry firearms. Also, I don't know anyone who carries that doesn't keep a round in the chamber. If you are attacked, you have no time to rack your slide and chamber the round. I am shocked at Dr. Savage's lack of knowledge on this subject."

  • Savage doesn't want urban America to burn it down when Zimmerman is found not guilty.
