Michelle Obama’s pitch: Share the wealth. Obviously the Imelda Marxist isn’t referring to all the “rich people” that her husband has shared our wealth with already. Not that she’s all that worried with us anyway. Not just so long as we’ve enough left over to pay for her $300.00 tennis shoes, lobster dinners and the millions upon millions that she racks up in vacation expenses.

Michelle Obama was in Louisville Thursday night for a fundraiser at the Kentucky Center For African-American Heritage. About a thousand people attended, with the cheapest tickets going for $100. On the news, her motorcade was shown passing through a poor section of Louisville with a number of poor African-Americans on the street outside of poor houses waving at her. Watching the scene I thought: What exactly are they doing to lower black unemployment and improve the situations of many poor African-Americans?
I am reminded of the words of the Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, who talked about African-Americans marching on the White House at this point if anyone besides Obama was in the White House:"The point was that if we had anybody else in the White House, with this level of unemployment, that you know, you would see a lot more African Americans, African American organizations and retro organizations speaking out against it. But because he is revered, you know, he gets I guess the benefit of it, you know, understanding that the situation was terrible when he came in. So, we're not doing that. ... The point I was making is that black people hold the president in such high esteem, that they would not dare march on the White House even though unemployment is at 15 percent and higher and if there was a white president we would do that because we've had white presidents since Washington."

They're not doing anything to lower unemployment for the poor. The poor that were waving at them are happy just to keep getting free goodies.

If I thought the man had done enough work to be suffering from some kind of stress, I would think that he was bucking for a Section 8.
