No, those folks will just move to the next room and make more iPhones. He's laying off Americans, probably because of Obamacare's employer mandate kicking in shortly. He knows the number of people he has to lay off in order to break even or come out ahead on the costs of Obamacare. If it was just a problem with the Windows phone, he would have spent billions making it work.

My company gave me a Windows phone. It sucks. I miss Blackberry, and I thought I'd never say that.
I love my Android phone. I've had one for years, and it never fails to perform.
The "best" feature of the Windows phone showed itself when I would forward an email to another person and the forwarded email would fail to forward. So I would receive the inevitable reply, "nothing after see below:". Total POS.
Microshaft sold phones? Although I can see why that idea tanked, who would want to buy a phone that could give you the "Blue Screen of Death" in the middle of a phone call.
The hippy morons who run the company finally figured out that they couldn't keep releasing $150-300 OS upgrades and fund every pie-in-the-sky project, and somebody with a few grains of business sense said 'you know, we can save X million dollars if we just cut out the unpopular parts of our business.'
Microshaft's phone may not be as good as advertised.
