Wow *fumigates* trolls be trippin' all over this thread...
I'm tired of getting my hopes up every time my guy is streaking down the sideline with nobody within 15 yards and he drops the ball, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, but fwiw

Vaca sagrada! Apuesto a que esto será todo Univision hoy.

A well deserved decline.
I like the article and the polling results. It gives me hope for the future. Seems the kids aren't as stupid as we thought. Now it's just the old Shitcago nurses that are terminally stupid.
"Seems the kids aren't as stupid as we thought."
Gee... thanks? :-/
You're under 25, right? You're way ahead of where I was at that age in terms of articulating world view. You are wise beyond your years. I hope that does not come off as condescending.
Over 25, but I still get carded lol and thanks! I have always been "older" lol. A lot of people have said that to me. I think that is is just a result of spending a lot of time in my head LOL
I don't consider you a kid Kimmy, you're too smart.
Thanks :-* <-- kiss
Aww, you're one of the few (but growing) exceptions to the rule :P
:-)
Watch this little video to see and hear about how the bronqobama refused to accept IBM's offer to build the ACA website for free. No charge. No billions or millions. Just for free. http://live.wsj.com/video/viewpoints-working-with-the-obama-white-house/5A0ED9CD-CFC8-4898-8ADB-B0B8196D7E5A.html#!5A0ED9CD-CFC8-4898-8ADB-B0B8196D7E5A
I heard about that, but the problem with accepting the offer is that Moochelle's college friend wouldn't have gotten paid, and IBM wouldn't have any of our money to kick back to the DNC coffers.
Right, like these media addicted pukes are going to pay attention to anything they didn't see on Facebook or Twitter. About the only thing they're worried about is how many hits they got on their page, until they get the bill that is.
When I see the millennials marching on Washington DC armed with pitchforks and torches, ready to clean out that snakes den, then I'll start to believe they're truly serious about liberty or freedom.
Right now all they're concerned about is the lack of MONEY they'll have in the future - and they measure "future" as next months paycheck or their next promotion. They still don't understand the source of their spending power or cultural imperatives - America's freedom, liberty and right of self-determination. Right now they're just concerned with not being "rich slaves" like the other "rich slaves" (elites) they see around them. Still losers.
Perhaps these "Millennials" children will wake up in about 20 years and discover that velvet shackles are just as painful as steel shackles.
Socialism, still making everybody but a few select elites equally miserable.
I'm the parent of three of millenials. They are certain that their lives won't be as financially prosperous as mine if we keep to the current trend. Number 2 is a lawyer who, in the face of tremendous job competition in Atlanta, isn't making nearly what she thought she would. Her solution: work hard, play hard, stay single, stay childless, and travel as often as possible. She does not own a single thing of value except a car and she couldn't care less. How much of this is shaped by the times I have no idea.
LOL You are essentially describing my life! I don't know if I should feel bad for us (your daugther and I and others) or just say that it is what it is... However it is shaped by the times, I think especially women. We cannot count on a Prince Charming anymore.. men like Romney who have tons of cash and are willing to marry and take care of their wives while they stay home... that is a thing of the past. Young men are worthless. In addition it is expensive and not sound to own anything anymore. Owning things is a liability, I take care of my Mom's house and expenses while she is away, seriously I couldn't own a home! No way! I have my car it is paid for and I am done I need it for work and for entertainment. I take care of it give it care so it won't go down. Seriously where is the incentive to give birth to a child... sad to say... another expense when the reality is that it is very possible a man may not stick around to help me take care of our child... because he is so immature and stupid and not done growing up?
I can be here all day... trust me that your daughter is not alone and we have reasons.. we have valuable reasons and it is sad...? maybe what can I tell you...
You'd like my daughter. You are on the same page.
I swear we are all in the same boat. At least my oldest realized he needed to purchase a house and make some what of a decent investment.
Trying to get them to understand that it takes time, hard work and saving to obtain wealth is foreign to them.
Finally they are seeing that they've been lied to and played as fools.
I believe in savings however buying a home is not a sound investment in my opinion. Savings are important though.
Well, since it's cheaper to buy than rent, it makes sense for them.
Interest rates are going up and probably will never be this low again. If you can afford it, and qualify, get a fixed rate loan on a house. Rent can go up but not a fixed rate, and buying a house is a good investment.
Homes come with hidden and additional costs and upkeep. It will only be worth it to me if I have a family. I guess it depends on the person for sure.
The main reason IMO to own rather than rent is that with a fixed mortgage, you have greater control over your housing expense. If interest rates go up, rents go up.
A house that you live in isn't an asset, no matter what the real estate agent tells you, and how much cash you have in the value. It's just a way of controlling your housing expense. They would only be an asset if you could sell them and live somewhere else.
Woah! Where you been? LOL
I hear you... or rather read you... :-)
Working, mostly. Hoping things slow down but I'm not optimistic. I gotta make money while I can.
Holeee Crap! Just snorked [_]3 and almost fell out of my chair, great to see you and how ya been?
Well that sounds... glamorous... hey as long as you are getting paid it is all good!
Yeah, I have great isolation earbuds, so I can listen to Luciano as loud as I want.
*groan* Ah man, I see you haven't lost the touch, that fans thing was outstandingly horrible.
Server room & fans.. sounds glorious
I'm pretty good. Hopefully, finishing up this gig, and onto something less intense. Holed up in a server room, where it's nothing but me and my fans.
Yes. My kids are all amazed at how my IQ increases as they get older.
Lol as Mark Twain stated.
My stepson was making more money than my wife and I combined, and had nothing to show for it. I kept trying to get him to at least sock away his bonus checks, but he knew better. Then, suddenly the company went under, and he was out of work, and had no money to live on.
Now he has a new job, making good money, but he's a sub contractor to the company, and gets 1099'd. He finally listened to me and is taking out money weelky to pay his taxes, and putting money in a savings account. He doesn't make what he did before, but he now sees the wisdom of putting a little away for a rainy day. He and his girlfriend are now looking to buy a house. He's 31.
{edit} Now, he's asking my advice on how to prepare for when the SHTF.
