Maybe Barney Fife here should call Sheriff David Clarke to help him figure-out how to get a handle on all the lawlessness in Milwaukee - not.
I can see why there's been a war of words between the two. Must be tough for Clarke to watch this dipstick do nothing while Milwaukee goes down the drain.

I am a moderately smart person... I have NO IDEA what was his point, what he thought was the real problem nor what was the solution to the problem... All I gathered was people don't fear imprisonment, they fear criminals so they hold on to their guns... and I am like... yes... and? Is he saying that all people that are holding on to their guns are criminals too?

I think he's calling for more regulations against the already regulated. Because if something doesn't work, you just do more of it?

Yes, because reversing their original plan of gun control would be an admission of error and they prefer to regulate EVERYONE in order to keep blacks from owning guns. This then causes the results we see and white-flight is criticized even though anyone with the means to leave the area actually does. (For example, few retired city and state employees, such as teachers, ever stay in the same county.)
