Minnesota explosion linked to Al Qaeda. The January explosion, which killed three and hospitalized thirteen others, was in a predominately Somali neighborhood in a building owned by a man officially associated with Islamic terrorists but the local FBI office, without bothering to conduct an investigation, quickly announced that there was “no evidence of terrorist activity.” Then they went back to work… investigating Tea Party groups.

In downtown Louisville in 2006 a Somali man slit the throats of his four children, ages 2 to 8. It was heartbreaking. His wife managed to survive.

I see one Somali man the Archdiocese of Louisville helped to resettle here, fairly often. He walks to a fast food job in a nearby business district. One day I saw him in the library. He's trying hard.

I live in the Twin Cities, & have seen NOTHING reported locally connecting this story to anything related to Al Qaeda. We have decent local media, but they have said NOTHING on this story involving Al Qeada or it's Somali offshoot Al-Shabaab.

I wasn't really thinking of the local papers, & I have not read the Minneapolis paper in over a decade. The St.Paul paper can be OK, but I was thinking more of the local TV news. If you go elsewhere, you will see we have "decent" local TV news.
I agree with that. Havent read the Red Star in 10+ years either. In about 1988 or so, I happened to pick up a Red Star that was discarded in a McD's and unfortunately the sports page was missing. I read an editorial (obviously bored) that was railing about how awful Rush Limbaugh was. Up until then I hadn't heard of Rush but figgered that if the Red Star hates this guy, he has to be great. Immediately tuned him in and have been listening ever since. Actually I am grateful to the commie rag at least for that.
There are some people/organizations that if they bitch about how bad something is, it has to be really good.

Investigating this isn't high on Holder's priority list, He's too busy suing states that require an ID to vote.
Must have been the Keith Ellison local 1280 of the amalgamated bomb assemblers union.... this will just be classified as a "training accident" and the FBI will be serving IRS warrants on conservatives in a day or two...

The only legal way to stop this kind of thing is to conduct random searches of people who buy guns and/or ammo at Wal Mart and pay with cash.
