Missouri Democrats Rename Annual Dinner After Racist KKK Member. Way to go morons!
In June 1911 future Democratic President Harry Truman wrote his friend Bess Wallace. In the letter (page 3) Democrat Truman told Wallace what he really felt about Asians and blacks.
“I think one man is just as good as another so long as he’s honest and decent and not a n*gger or a Chinaman. Uncle Wills says that the Lord made a white man from dust, a n*gger from mud, and then threw what was left and it came down a Chinaman. He does hate Chinese and Japs. So do I. It is race prejudice I guess. But I am strongly of the opinion that negroes ought to be in Africa, yellow men in Asia, and white men in Europe and America.”

To be fair, I think Truman in his later years did have a change of heart. I've run across another quote where he says after seeing segregation in the deep south that he'd "never realized it was as bad as that."
Sorry, don't "buy" it. Truman reminds me of the person attending sexual harassment training, hoping to perfect their pickup technique.

Mark my words folks, Truman was a Democrat and no liberal loon will say a word against him. Just like the loons have never said a bad word about LBJ.

After which he started the "War on Poverty" which has evolved into the social welfare policies we have today, the very policies LBJ envisioned to keep blacks "on the plantation." Looking at all the problems we have in our inner cities I would say that LBJ's actions worked very well. But, you will never hear a liberal loon say one damn word against him, he was a Democrat.

The truth is there has never been a reversal of roles, Democrats have always been the party of racists. Check out their history, all the way back to the Revolutionary War, and you will find that the Democrat party, even though it had a different name back then, has always been a party of segregation and racism.

This is going to backfire very badly. The BLM movement is coming out as the hardcore racists they really are. This get the black vote out operation for a lily white super rich woman for president is not going to work. Started too early, is racist, and is violent.
I am surprised they didn't name it the "Margret Sanger Memorial Dinner" while they were at it. Maybe serve a nice meal of veal with baby vegetables.
