The lead in? “Romney and Ryan want to take us back to the failed, top-down economic ideas of the past.” Amazing hubris from a President presiding over the the largest debt the US has ever had.

The "old policies" had this nation under 5% unemployment. A housing market that was thriving an economy that was on solid footing. So hell yes I want to go back to the old tried and true was of making this country awesome. Not the nanny state that we currently have

Probably but Ryan is tough and knowledgeable, which makes the demagoguery less effective, in my view. He'll counter and challenge the Dems to prove him wrong or embarrass them as they mischarachterize his proposals.
