MSNBC apologizes for insulting country music

• Ok guys, I'm lost. I had to buy a new 'puter and now I don't know how to copy and paste a youtube video for ya'll.

  Anyway. if you want to know why liberals don't like country music check out the Hank Williams Jr. song Country Boy Can Survive. Or Toby Keith's American Soldier. There are tons of country songs out there that tell it like it is. Life is hard and it takes God, guns and guts to survive it. That is what liberals don't like, especially rich ones, nobody should be taking care of themselves without gooberment or their help. Which is total bull hockey.

• My hub a Yankee, (Philly) married him 13 years ago. Hated country music. Now loves it. I would venture to say there are more country music fans than any other genre. But we like blues, soul, rock, etc. AND, furthermore, EFF MSNBCGLBT. What a bunch of losers.

  By the way, country music is not just in the south. I am amazed how many people from all over like it. I never knew it till I watched the Voice last year.

• Personally I can't stand country music, but some people do like it, so let it play.

  • I used to work with a guy that was a rabid C&W fan.
    We would bust on him about Country and Western being the special Olympics of music.

  • I'm with you, but I'd rarely go out of my way to shoot my mouth off about it, unless I was in a small select audience and was making some kind of joke about it.

    • I grew up in the era where the the difference between a country song and a pop song was little more than a steel guitar and accent. So I never cared for it until I came across the Rick Rubin produced Johnny Cash records of the late nineties. That changed my perspective and going back to the older stuff I found a lot that I actually liked.
