MSNBC host blames Limbaugh, Gingrich, Santorum for Trayvon Martin death. Someone is tragically killed and the Democrat-media circus magically comes to life. They remind us of a bunch of narcissistic, spoiled brats who yell “Fire!” in a crowded theatre so they can steal patrons’ popcorn after they run out in terror. It doesn’t matter who or what they destroy as long as they can profit from it. And they call oil companies greedy?

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

      • let me be clear:
        I am all for private ownership of guns. It's a guaranteed right in my country. That being said, I think it's more specific and less dangerous to use one's natural weapons to stop bad ppls. I'm reminded of an episode of SWAT i think it was, where the negro cop is trying to quell a gang war, and he's talking about how the then current youth relied on weapons that did damage at a distance, and how that was not nearly as fulfilling and satisfying as the kids who fought when the negro cop was a yoot because they'd use their fists and feel the enemy's faces actually cracking and splitting under one's hands. :D

  • I was actually offended by that analysis. I know since I'm a white Conservative male (and damned attractive) that my feelings don't matter, but seriously that analysis was offensive to me.

    Trayvons death was a tragedy, if I was down there I would probably protest with those people because this case should have been investigated properly from the beginning. It's sad that it wasn't. However, to tie racism and Republicans/Conservatives to this is unbelievable. She should be fired on the spot.

    I know she won't, and she might even get a promotion after that hit piece, but I actually hope they keep this up. This is another example of them completely overreaching. Fortunately if anyone was watching that wasn't a left wing lunatic (and I doubt it), they probably changed the channel after that, and hopefully won't look back.

    • Who is gonna get the blame when this case ends up in a mistrial? If a high profile, big time defence lawyer like Jose Baez, who got Casey Anthony off(so to speak)takes the case & just points to all of the activist BS going on surrounding the case, his job is going to be made easier by these morons who are more about their facetime rather then a dead 17 year old who probably did nothing wrong & was murdered for nothing. I'll be interested to watch it happen, then watch the insane reaction from the very people who caused the mistrial to begin with. Let's wait & see if this happens, I think it will.

  • Have loved how the usual idiots and now "Dear Leader" have jumped head first into another mass media side show. We have not so Sharpton threatening violence, and Jackson lining up some more money through his usual extortion racket. But then anything to distract the public from the $5 a dollar gas.

            Robert wasn't truly making an accusation. He was playing on the word "black" because of how the left reacts to that word on a regular basis and how they scream racism at every turn. If you were more familiar with his personality, you would understand that. As for you comments on Sharpton, few here would disagree with you.

            You can believe what you want but dont think for someone else.

            I believe what I see. I have been here on this site for quite some time. I know the regulars and I know when they are being serious and when they are not. It's something I have come to know by sitting back and watching how various people respond to various posts/stories/jokes what have you. I'm telling you, you have misunderstood Robert's post.

            Perhaps you should remove the stick from up your butt and look for the humor that is all around this site. Sorry, to be so blunt but you need to lighten up some. Robert isn't your enemy here. There is no need to act as if everything is so deadly serious. I'm just asking you to keep that in mind. Just relax. Robert isn't a bad fella, and I'm sure you aren't either.
