Yes, story was thunderously silent about him being a Mohammedan. While we can't be 100% certain, 15 seconds of intense research reveals "Alija" to be name associated with "Bosniaks", or Bosnians from the Mohammedan part of Bosnia.

This one's house arrest should have been started from about 1500 feet. He could be arrested once he hit the ground at the nearest house. What a load of shit, he needs to be in a jail waiting trial for his actions. If he had been carrying a Bible or wearing a Crucifix, you can bet he would be sitting in a jail cell some where with no bail or an amount that it would be impossible to come up with.

Kucuk was taken into custody at the Palm Beach County airport and placed in federal detention at the Palm Beach County jail.

I'm willing to bet that not all the people on the flight were OSP, many of them were sheeple. No balls, no willingness to protect their fellow man, just sheeple waiting for the sheep dog to come along and magically rescue them, while they are lead to the killing field. The tragedy of 9/11/01 didn't teach the fools one damn thing.

I expect it happened to quickly for most of the passengers to even realize something was up. Also, and this is merely conjecture: based on it being a NY Flight to FLA in the Autumn, I expect most of the pax were indeed "snowbirds" or OAP's*.
