I suspect that Mayor Mussolini is more than a little jealous of communist Vietnam. People with a totalitarian mindset admire countries that don't have annoying impediments like democracy, free speech or a free press.
That's why Thomas Friedman of the New York Times admires the Chinese communists---those suckers know how to govern the proles, they don't take crap from anybody and the trains run on time.
