• A distraught senior citizen phoned her doctor’s office. "Is it true," she wanted to know, "that the medication you prescribed for me has to be taken for the rest of my life?" "Yes, I’m afraid so," the doctor told her. There was a moment of silence before the senior lady replied, "I’m wondering, then, just how serious is my condition because this prescription is marked ‘NO REFILLS’."

• Medicare - Part G - Nursing Home Plan

  Say you are an older senior citizen and can no longer take care of yourself and the government says there is no Nursing Home care available for you. So, what do you do? You opt for Medicare Part G.

  The plan gives anyone 75 or older a gun (Part G) and one bullet. You are allowed to shoot one worthless politician. This means you will be sent to prison for the rest of your life where you will receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating and air conditioning, cable TV, a library, and all the Health Care you need. Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? That's great. Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, sex change, or heart? They are all covered!

  As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do now! And, who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you they can't afford for you to go into a nursing home. And you will get rid of a useless politician while you are at it. And now, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any more income taxes!

  Is this a great country or what? Now that you have solved your senior financial plan, enjoy the rest of your week!

• Yep, this communist boondoggle really make healthcare more affordable, for the Congress critters who exempted themselves. But it was never supposed to work, Single Payer has and continues to be the goal.

• The cost to the taxpayer may have slowed a bit but the cost to the consumer has went through the roof. Everybody I know that was forced to buy Obummercare because their existing policies were no longer valid under ACA has seen their premiums jump as much as 40%, their deductibles jump as much as 130%, co-pays went up at least 50% and the amount of coverage they now get has gone down. And now Bluecross/Blueshield wants the state to grant them a 40% raise in premium costs because their costs have went up so much that they may have to pull out of New Mexico. Obummercare is an Obamanation and whoever put these numbers together is a lying sack of shit.

  • My daughter becamea stay at home mom after my granddaughter was born. No longer employed, her insurance was gone. Shewent under herhusbands . Policy with the baby. Then he got a new job and they moved. He is still covered und e r employer insurance, but the chapest they have found for the . Other two is $500 .monthly, with a hefty deductible. Mybother daughter has insurance at work, but again, her deductible is enormous, so she ends . Up pretty much paying out of . Pocket. My son is a chef. Restaurants have sorryplans if any at all. And i have recently found that most . Of the drugs I am taking have been shuffled into Tier2 status(?) And I ampaying the full cost onmost. Thanks Obamacare!
