  I was a supervisor in a GM plant for a little while. Now those are some perpetually offended people. One day I was the senior person present so I had to take the microphone and start the shift. I don't remember what I said, something about how bad an idea it was to give me a microphone and an audience, which made everybody laugh, but then at the end, after the boring safety shit, I said, "Okay, let's get to work and have a good day." About ten people complained to the union that I insulted them by saying, "Let's get to work."
