NBC’s Today Show does it again. Remember how the Today Show edited George Zimmerman’s 911 call to make him sound like a racist? Causing riots and racial strife across the nation? Turns out they also edited their interview with Jerry Sandusky, to make him sound like he was stonewalling. The prosecutors didn’t know the tape was edited so they played it to the jury and now a convicted child molestor has grounds for appeal. Big sloppy thank yous (again) to the “journalists” of Today.

NBC has proven that they are just STUPID and in doing so managed to prove the incompetence of the prosecutors in this case. An average prosecutor would have asked to see the whole taping not what was aired. They now look like fools and certainly have put the wheels in motion for a new trail.
Way to go you fools at NBC. Now let us hear from the lefties who think that NBC,CBS and ABC are all the news gods and see what type of defense they can conjure up for NBC.
This tape being used by the prosecution is nothing but incompetence. What legal team relies on any tv news without checking the entire tape first? Buffoons and if this evil monster gets out of prison ever because of this fiasco then may the wrath of God be upon their heads!

I think NBC compromised the prosecution's case because they yearn for a (ahem) lengthy Sandusky appeal. It'll give them something to run nightly other than news about their god's economy, foreign policy, energy policy, the Fast & Furious scandal inching closer to his Oval office... the list goes on and on.

I just found out we're under a tornado watch here. Darn Tropical Storm Debby Whatshername Schultz. But I guess I'm fashionable now, because my first (quite cynical) thought was, "I'll bet the White House and the media are all hoping this storm floods us as bad as Tropical Storm Allison did Houston ten or so years ago, so they can jump on live 24/7 coverage and take all the focus off what's happening in DC."

NBC needs to be congratulated for possibly allowing a multiple offender child molester to walk free because they decided to edit the damning video. If we had a real justice department and a real attorney general, they would look into it, but we have a pretend attorney general and a pretend administration who are too busy raising re election funds to go after NBC. You just know that NBC will get a free pass from Obutthead and company.
Well, there is no place in hell bad enough for a child molester or the people that help him walk free.
That said, now NBC will have their you-know-what in a wringer even more for being the journalistic hacks that they are -- hard to argue with having this entered into the legal record as being purveyors of false and misleading information. Hopefully, this is the final nail in the coffin of the NBC "journalism" enterprise. That they wouldn't even view stuff of this nature as scandalous is mind boggling.
You have to wonder at the mentality of the prosecutor, though, to use an interview aired over broadcast media rather than go directly to the source. What do you guys say -- incompetent, drinker of the Kool-ade, or just plain stupid? "Crazy like a fox' does not apply here -- if they let that perv walk because of this, they've done a horrible thing, far worse than exposing NBC for the two bit menace to society that they are.
It doesn't sound bad enough to let him walk to me, but what do I know? The legal system surprises me constantly with it's bizarre outcomes.
I dunno -- my guess is that his scum sucking bottom feeding lawyer could use this to show that the whole world has been educated to hate him, and get a mistrial. I wouldn't be all that surprised.
Even the *possibility* of this happening because NBC was up to its typical tricks and the prosecution was apparently run by six oxygen-deprived goldfish in a dirty tank who thought using a tape from NBC was a good idea... makes me sick.

The whole thing drives me batty. These so-called journalists are messing with peoples very lives. Yet when the sh!t hits the fan at the very worst, someone might lose his job...hardly compares to the road the victims have to travel. Not really a problem, all the judge has to do is poll the jury and ask if anyone was swayed by the clip. Likely not with the preponderance of evidence they already saw.
