Now, isn't that a strange interpretation, considering that it's the Republicans who usually promise lots of goodies to their voters: cheap gas, cheap electricity, cheap labor, low taxes, cheap (GMO) food, cheap Big Gulps, no health insurance required (hey, go ahead and sponge off everybody else if you don't feel like paying insurance premiums, right?)...and to Hades with the longterm consequences.
No, Silent, it's not the Democrats who are handing out "free shit." Nor is it only Democrats who accept it. In my experience, there are lots of political conservatives with their hands out for all the "free shit" they can grab.....but that's okay, just so long as "THOSE people" (insert demographic description of your choice) don't get it

To all: this is a POPULARITY poll. It requires the person being polled to make sweeping judgments, without any effort being taken to find out what those judgments are being based on. It also doesn't take into account the fact that good leaders are often obliged to support unpopular positions. Does it make them better leaders if they cave and give the public whatever instant gratification they crave, instead of working for the longterm good of the nation? Of course not.
Once again, you've been had. And, just to make sure none of you actually use a little critical thinking while reading the poll results, they get some bozo to put his own spin on it, to mislead you even further.
