Yes, I reached, but don't I get an E for effort? I actually remembered it from HS English vocabulary tests, from what I NOW regard as one of the best teachers I ever had (then not so much, but looking back she was quite good at her job, The Bard and all). So good in fact, this landlocked, poor blue collar boy knew what a regatta was on his SATs, imagine that.

OMG drb! So sorry to hear about your illness. I have been under the weather myself. I was hospitalized with a severe infection in my hand on Friday. 24 hours of heavy duty IV antibiotics, and I'm feeling better. The Dr was afraid that I could lose my hand, and since the infection was working it's way up my left arm, heart concerns were a possibility. Darned VA hospital had mostly male and gigantic Jamacian nurses, either couldn't understand them, or definately not eye candy! Probably their way of motivating you to want to go home! One cute resident Dr though, but only saw her once. I could have used some drb nursing, but you were out of comission too!
I hope you are feeling better, and they get that infection killed.
I am on 100mg of doxycyclene 1x a day for the next 2 weeks now. We'll see how that goes.

@GNTM, thank you for the good wishes. My doc isn't sure what it is exactly that is making me ill but cancer, MS, and viral meningitis have all been ruled out. Labs say my WBC is through the roof so we know I'm fighting an infection somewhere and judging by the WBC numbers, it's a hell of an infection. So Dr.F. put me on a high dose antibiotic and it seems to be helping. Oh and that web address, once again, is JPAttitude.com.

LMAO! Thank you guys so very much for the laughs. Y'all might have noticed my lack of posting here lately. I have been ill but am now on the road to recovery, anyway my illness attacked my nervous system and my ability use my hands was limited. The numbness and tingling is starting to subside but the general weakness in my hands and tremors are still pretty bad. The pain in my legs and arm have resolved but there are still other areas that are quite tender to the touch. I saw that cyber smooch at a time when I was in tears from both the pain and frustration from not being able to do much with my hands. It's the sense of helplessness that gets me more than anything else. But thank you again fellas, for making me laugh through the tears.
