New Obama housing rules target segregated neighborhoods. Yes, let’s redistribute more income and let’s again put people in houses they cannot afford and watch the husing market tank again when loans aren’t paid. Doing the same thing again expecting different results.

The gooberment pulled this kind of crap in the area we lived in, in Albuquerque, before we sold out and moved to the lake. Four Hills was a quiet, secluded neighborhood where nobody worried about locking their doors just to walk down to the neighbors for cocktail hour. We didn't sit in our homes with the doors and windows locked, we didn't worry if we left the car unlocked. All that changed within 5 years.
The city fathers, in all their wisdom, decided to "diversify" the area by building a bunch of those crackerbox low income apartments on city property. They are about a mile from my old house and within a year after the crackerboxes were completed we started having problems. You never left a door or window unlocked. You locked your car even if you were going inside for just a minute. Everybody had to get security bars installed on their windows and doors.
We sold out and moved to the lake because we could and wanted to. The last time I cruised the old neighborhood I found out we were not the only ones to leave, many of the people we knew had left too. The old neighborhood is gone along with all the beautiful trees and landscaped yards we were all so proud of. Those crackerboxes are less than 20 years old and they would look just right in the worst slum in Chicago. The whole area is a dump filled with junkies, whores, homeless people and crime. The little shopping area at the bottom of the hill where the road meets Central Ave. now has 24 hour security guards all around the place to keep the thieves and vandals away. I thank God every day we had the chance to sell out when the housing market was booming and get out of there.
Do you suppose he might try to get them to do something similar at his old hometown? Seems they might limit his range of topics.

This is about submitting to government. Nothing more.
It is fundamentally about a government unhinged from its charter document, adrift in the whims of men rather than ordered by the rule of law.
I wonder what the idiots who voted for Obama only because of the "free" healthcare are going to say ? I know.........I didn't sign up for this.

Do you really think the Politicians would ALLOW low income people in their D.C. Neighborhoods? Not on your life, NIMBY's would rule the day because politicians are SPECIAL.....AS in They are above us commoners...They would not allow anyone unacceptable near them.... Lessee - my wife and myself belong to pretty much the same ethnic grouping and live on 8 acres of undeveloped land in SE Oklahoma. How is the man known as Obama gonna integrate us?

Well put. There is no segregation here. Or rather there was no segregation here. Thanks to the new rules there will be. A segregation of effort and contribution between those that are expected to pay their way and those that expect to have the way paid for them.
