I'll just tell the New Republic or anyone else who has the wet dream of stripping America of it's constitutional gun rights this. Go on the record, & push for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment, & put your money behind candidates that will push for that. Do it on a national level, run against the NRA, Ted Nugent, & the 2nd Amendment. Run on a platform of total gun control, from coast to coast. Get 2/3 of the House, 2/3 of the Senate, & 3/4 of the states to agree, & ratify the 28th Amendment, which would overturn the 2nd Amendment. Say what you really want to do, & do it within our nation's system the right way.
But that will never happen, & the reason why is simple, it is a loser. Gun control played a major part in why Al Gore never got elected, & if it were proposed properly by candidates running for election, they would lose everywhere. After all, it's still "We the people", right?
