New study shows gun violence down in Virginia. “The research shows the number of guns purchased soared to 73% in the six year period, while gun related crimes fell 24%.” Meanwhile look at places like Chicagostan, Detroitistan and Oaklandistan where about the only people who have guns are the thugs who care less about gun control laws or any other laws anyway.

Did Virginia suddenly enact an open carry law?
Virginia has had a carry law for sometime. What is driving the crime down is the law enacted back in the late 80 early 90s attached mandatory jail time for a crime committed with a gun.
At one time Richmond VA was one of the most violent a deadliest cities in the US. This law helped reduce the crime rate.
I'm sure the likes of Bloomtard and his butt buddy Chuck Schumer would find some other reason for the drop in gun violence. Because gun bans work so well in places like Detroit and Chicago.
Imagine that a well armed populace and the crime rate is down. Who would've thought that. All courtesy of the NRA and sensible legislators. The NRA backed the bill that added mandatory time for a crime committed with a fire arm. Guess what all the thugs learned real quick was to do the crime without a gun.

NO NO NO!!! More guns = MORE VIOLENCE! It does! Really! The problem is that the RESEARCHERS did a bad job. The study was flawed! It must have been funded by the NRA! The professor must be fired! He strayed from the academia line! It's all HIS fault. Now - it's time to start the coverup. Do NOT let this story get out.
