Newsweak 1995: Lacking editors, reviewers or critics, the Internet has become a wasteland of unfiltered data.Since data is useless without some smart journalist to tell us what it means, Newsweak (misspelling intentional) was sure it would soon join the pet rock on the ash heap of history. But 15 years later, it’s the internet that’s thriving while Newsweak gets punted from one owner to another like a cheap Christmas fruitcake. The predictions of self-styled elitists are always good for a laugh… but nothing else.
