I wouldn't put it past Nancy to fall on the sword for her party. She's what, 70? She made her mark as first female Speaker. Her career has hit it's apogee and is falling like a rock. She's not going to go back up the ladder. She's richer than most 1%ers. Why not cross the line and reveal a bunch of stuff that she isn't supposed to reveal? Why not reveal a bunch of lies while she's at it? The upside is she goes out a hero of the party by taking out the next threat to dickboy. Like him or not Newt is nothing like dickboy, but I think he campaigns better against dickboy than Romney will. The downside is she retires amid a swirl of controversy. Wait, that's a plus in her book too!
She'd never fall on her sword for anyone, even herself. She is too egotistical and vapid to put anyone or anything ahead of herself. She would push someone in front of a bus if she thought it would get her somewhere better, faster.
