• So you mean that the $2 billion and counting the Alberta government spent to pump a harmless gas underground was a waste of money? • Prediction:

  We will soon hear all about how changing climate is normal and necessary, and lack of it is very bad and will destroy the earth and all the cute ground hogs and koala bears.

  That will be the last stab at the whole climate thing. Then the statist/liberty-phobes will move on to something else that will require the growth of gov't and suppression of freedom.

  I've posted this before - yes, I know it's just an anecdotal thing, so all you warmists don't get your panties in a wad and reply with condescending explanations of climate and weather -

  Sometime in the last several months, maybe 18 or so, the Weather Channel on line (weather.com), made some adjustments, and rather quietly I might add.

  For my area in northern NJ, the average overnight low temp for Jan was 17 deg., and for Feb it was 20 or 21. One day recently I looked at it again, and lo and behold, it was 15 and 17, respectively.

  (of course this past winter, it was about 25. I drive an SUV, so you're welcome)

• Well, the sun's current solar flare/storm cycle isn't supposed to peak until next year, so we're in for at least another couple damn cold summers.

• Climate Chaos, PsychoDad passed on the directive from on high a while back. This crisis multiplies as we speak.

• You guys are behind the times. It's "Climate Change" now and it has nothing to do with mere warming. Now all that CO2 is making mother Gaia crazy so she's dancing on our heads with extreme weather events. Of course, nobody actually predicted that, but with enough scientific word processors and grant supported monkeys we'll be getting a theory along those lines any time now. And, of course, the science will then be settled - again.

    They really tipped their hand that it's about control whatever the weather when they went from "Global Warming" to "Climate Change".

    • It's always been a scam, always. Their problem is they cannot come clean, even though the evidence is killing their movement. They can't quit now because they are so heavily invested in so many ways that admitting they are wrong is not an option. They have too much at stake, & so do we.

      • Somewhere along the way the money will start to dry up and that will be the beginning of the end for them.
        People will only be fooled for so long, and the more they see severe winters and colder summers, the less they will be inclined to listen to the drivel coming from the CC conspiracists.

• Global warming causes lack of evidence of global warming! It's even more insidious than we thought! We need even MORE money to combat this sneaky menace!

• No, that chart is wrong. According to Critical Climate Theory thermometers are inherently racist, so we have to give all our money to the government.

  • Also, according to Critical Race Theory, only racists use thermometers. But I was laughing when I wrote that.

• Allow me to do the ubiquitous, fence-sitting "reasonable conservative" thing: "Yes, I believe there's a certain amount of partial sort of warming, but I don't think humans are really very much to blame for most or some of that."
