North Korea might finally finish its new hotel…

After 25 years of construction, North Korea might finally finish its new hotel… next year. Maybe. Communists – they needed more than a quarter century to build one hotel and they probably installed rotary phones and tube TVs in every room.

  • Ya'll are just haters. That magnificent building is proof that NK has mastered "shiny and pointy" technologies. I hear the next scientific quest will be in the "plumb and leveling" technical fields. Seems the building is rumored to be a tad askew and walking down one of the halls is akin to walking the halls of a cruise ship during a tropical blow.

  • Valarie Jarret can stay there when she is in NK getting new tips on getting even with political enemies and the latest features in prisons for non-supporters of the regime. Or, maybe she is teaching them, who knows.

  • I can envision Dear Leader coming up with a new Korean game show. Push the person who pissed me off this week off the roof. They can bet on how close he gets to the bullseye.

  • Hey listen, all kidding aside, they wanted to make sure they made it right the first time...not! (sarc and kidding...big time)

  • Rotary phones that direct-dial to the Korean Worker's Party so you can report on your fellow guests, and TVs that you can't turn off, just like the radios, and play pro-KJU/KJI/KLJ propaganda all day and night. Sounds like the perfect vacation spot!

    • Amenities:
A hidden microphone in every room!
The Elevator doesn't go all the way to the top!
Instead of the Gideon Bible you get a book of Dear Leader's Quotes!
Order Room Service on Monday night and get your order by Friday!
Free tickets to the Pyongyang firing squad competition!
One Korean War surplus blanket in every room.
Free Shuttle to and from the airport in a windowless bus so you don't see the real N. Korea!
      New sheets every 5th guest!
      Wall to wall linoleum.
Communal Bath and toilet at the end of the hall.

    • Hey, it's not like nobody will want to visit North Korea. I'm sure Sean Penn is chomping at the bit to buttkiss another communist despot.
