Norwegian scientists say electric cars NOT good for the envronment. This is pretty much what we’ve all been thinking so it’s probably good science. After all, you have to make noxious batteries and then charge the damn things with electricity generated by burning coal, right? One caveat: these are Norwegians… the same people who gave Nobel Peace Prizes to Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, the IPCC, and Barack Obama.

  • You mean sitting on top of a spontaneously combusting battery pack isn't safe?
That the manufacture of toxic batteries, using other toxins, isn't good for the environment?
That since there is no plausible recycling for these batteries, they aren't really green?
    What a shock!

  • I'm a dope that works overnights & I knew this all along. Does'nt say much for Norwegian scientists, though.
