Diane Swinestein was upset when asked about the provisions and told to ask reporters to talk to Dirty Harry about the assault weapons ban was not part of the deal..Perhaps Princess Diane it's because people can see right thru the bullshit you just flung onto the senate floor. What we need is a bill to ban assault legislation and TERM LIMITS for Swinestein and he senile old colleagues.

It is still alive in the senate. The just voted to not include in a package with anti straw purchase bills and school safety bills. Instead they want to add it to a main gun control package.
They'll nix Feinstein's radical package and then pass a bunch of onerous crap to make owning a gun even more difficult than it is now and then call it a "compromise" or "common sense" gun control.
The appropriate response would be to compromise and NOT run them out of town on a rail, just giving money and time to their opponents to make sure they aren't re-elected again.
Don't worry, it'll be back in some form or another.
