Now that Harry Reid is not in control, liberals want Senate abolished. Oddly, they never said a word about this before.

  • Note that there are no options to comment/reply to this idiotic crap. That's the way progressives control the narrative, by abolishing it to begin with. The moronic author might take note of the fact that the seats up for grabs generally weren't in the highly concentrated urban areas with large blocs of generally liberal voters. If NYC, Chi-Town, SF and LA dropped off the map, the political landscape in DC would look much different immediately.

    Democrats claim they are for the little guy, in this case it would be smaller states, and they usually, want equality u bar al-as, except when it doesn't work in their favor. I'm not surprised, but I it is astounding how little this people see their own hypocrisy.

      • yes, and i see that whenever someone libtardian moves from a high-tax state (like California) to a low(er)-tax state (like in the south). the first thing they complain about is that their new state doesn't have all the accoutrements as their former state did, and so then they commence organizing for various programs and facilities which require more taxes. of course, they decided to move to this new state mainly so they'd experience a windfall for the sale of their over-priced property in that other state and experience a lower real estate tax, but you know... it doesn't take long before they miss having all the freebies that require higher taxes and prices.

      • Very dumb. Destructively dumb. Senators uses to HAVE to listen to their state legislatures. Now most of them couldn't name two people in their state legislature.

        • I wish there was a clause input into the original Constitution that stopped Congress from passing laws that directly benefited them over the populace. The 17th amendment was a big one of those. Pay raises, insider trading, etc.
