NRO: WH may have to consider “unthinkable options” if website meltdown continues into November. “Exit quotation via HuffPo: ‘[F]ailure of this magnitude would discredit a core premise of this presidency, that government can do big things to improve Americans’ lives.” After 5 summers of no recovery (among other things), that discredit thing should be in the rearview mirror by now. Maybe one last big THUD with the stupid hammer will finally drive the point home.

  • we can help the website meltdown can't we? Wouldn't a nationwide push to flood the site with as many people as possible overload it and exacerbate the problems it has? Visit the site open 20 browser windows, login and lurk around. Webmaster people, would that work?

  • Democrats of today will claim with their last dying breaths that any failure in any of their ideas, no matter how big or small, it the blame of others. It's how these corrupt, arrogant idiots are programmed.

  • "Unthinkable options" smells of "let's blame the Jews" circa 1930's Germany and all the evil that came after all will unfold. All I am saying is that people need to watch the language. It is coded and it is dangerous.

  • There seem to be enough Republicans out there that will believe this meme that they'll lie down and cave even before they're asked to. Sorry-assed wimps! The RINO's must be primaried if we hope to have any chance of gaining our nation back from the progressive, spendthrift usurper-in-chief and his boot licking lackeys.

    • Absolutely right. The RINOs in this latest showdown compare favorably with the "elders" in Braveheart, advising the Scots thinking of siding with the rebels how it is too risky, and how they can't win, and how it is best to abandon your fellow countrymen. Cut a deal woth Longshanks (Doesn't Obama resemble him well?) and side with the current power structure. John McCain, one of the greatest supporters of this chicanery, even looks like the main elder i the movie.

        • Yes it is, thanks. This analogy does show how the RINOs and leadership (= elders) in the GOP contribute to the tyranny of the democrats.

          • The milquetoast Republicans are trying so hard to be looked on as kind and compassionate, that they have forgotten what they really stand for, being the adults in the room. They used to make the hard decisions, cutting spending in an attempt to balance budgets, and making for an atmosphere for business to grow and create more jobs. Instead, they now are going along with the plan to kill the wealthy and pay the poor and lazy people to stay home and get fat on the backs of those who still have a work ethic.
            There is going to have to be a serious movement to oust the weaklings and elect the strong people who will take back the party and the country.

  • The question now becomes: Can Team BO convince the Exalted One that if they are still holding this dead turkey when the putrefaction gases explode all is lost? The only problem for them is that punting the carcase away now would involve the Leader admitting to making a tiny error(he trusted the Tea Party? That sounds like the kind of lie the chief Spokes Weasel puts out regularly), and he is remarkably loathe to do this. In the end, Mrs. BO will threaten disembowel him unless he plays ball, and that will be that.

  • Get back to me when the Donks start loudly and repeatedly blaming the Republicans in the media for Obamacare fails. That's the only true criteria to look for that it's failing and in danger of being ditched. Of course, at that point I'm sure McClown et al will jump in to help save it.
