Nuclear commander caught playing fake poker chips. No wonder the nuclear missile silos didn’t have a wrench—the Vice-Admiral in charge was too busy making counterfeit $500 poker chips and spending 15 hours a week playing poker at the Horseshoe Casino.

Will the Neo-Soviets think we are bluffing when it comes to nuclear deterrence?
He is a vice admiral, he has a firm grasp on the vice part.
Time for the Vice Admiral to go. No honor and a cheat.
He took his title too seriously
We have a winner :)
I was flush with comments for this, but now I'm busted.
Good that you folded then.
Good call.
The puns always raise me up
Eventually you'll get them straight.
Someone should give this guy a flush.
I'm worried about him. He might be a suicide king.
It's possible. He does not appear to be playing with a full deck. Thankfully he is not two of a kind.
"He was fired from his post at Strategic Command last year, and reduced from three-star to two-star admiral. Earlier this year he was found guilty of two counts of conduct unbecoming an officer – lying to an investigator and passing fake gambling chips. He was given a written reprimand and ordered to forfeit $4,000 in pay. He has declined to comment on the case."
WTF? He is still in the service? Demoted one rank and allowed to stay in..He should have been drummed out with a dishonorable discharge and forfeit his pension!
"WTF? He is still in the service?"
That was my reaction, too. Seems like a guy with a gambling problem so bad he tries to make counterfeit chips is the very definition of a security risk.
This is Obama's navy. So long as he didn't advocate prayer or condemn gay sailors he was fine until word leaked out about this and the DOD and the navy had to react for appearances sake.
He wasn't playing with a full deck.
His chips were down.
The deck had 52 Jokers....
You gotta know when to hold'em...
He kinda made an ace of himself, didn't he?
Or a deuce
That Vice-Admiral should be cashiered out.
