NY Times complains because Fox reported Texas factory explosion instead of gun control failure

NY Times complains because Fox reported on the Texas factory explosion instead of gun control failure. “While most of ‘[Morning] Joe’ was dedicated to guns on Thursday, Fox’s morning show, ‘Fox & Friends,’ didn’t mention the word once. It focused instead on news about a Texas fertilizer plant explosion.” MSM wetting its diapers because one of its pet unicorns disappeared.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. • The ratings are in it seems and it seems that FOX won the entire coverage of the Boston bombing and apprehension of the terrorist. So I guess they are just hating.

  • Of course they are bitching about Fox. Fox does a better job of reporting the news and the have a higher viewership than the Times has readership. The times has lost it's influence and its driving them nuts. Poor business model and decisions makes for poor product. A poor product, results in a poor bottom line. A poor bottom line and you are out of business. That's how it works and it should work.

  • I agree with the Times. There is noting newsworthy about the deaths of a dozen redneck, flyover country yokels who thought New York City is a cesspool, voted for evil conservatives, and probably didn't read the Times, either. President Crybaby and his failure in the gun confisc..., er, control vote in the Senate are the real news here.(Not "failure", exactly, since, as he was quick to point out, the Koch Brothers new Mind Control Ray works fine on the small brains of Senators.)
