• I love that deBlasio dumped on the cops, but when they stood against him, his mouthpiece accuses THEM of extreme rhetoric, creatin divisions between the cops and the community. What an asshole!

• Maybe they should have turned their weapons on him instead, it would have sent a much more powerful message.

• I love the idea of waiting for two cars per call for service. no solo units and arresting people only when you absolutely have to. Why take the risk when people in charge don't give a damn if you get killed. Do what you have to, and protect yourself.

  Years ago we had areas like that in Stockton, two cars per call, No foot pursuits, a supervisor also dispatched to prevent any ambush or complaints. It was for our safety. Given the right circumstances almost any cop will make the ultimate sacrifice, but just sitting in my patrol car is not a reason to die at the hands of some gang extremist who is a full baggie short of a crack pipe.

• Good for them. Next time the commands should be. "AttenTION! Middle finger UP! Tu! About FACE!"
  I'd like to see the NYPD select a no cops go zone. CAn you image the mayhem? It would be delightful to see....from afar. They don't want cops around. Give em what they want. After about six hours the whining a mewling would be astronomical even at liberal standards. Hopefully the media will cover it so they can get theirs too.

• Good for them. We all know this blow hard communist son of a bitch is going to show up at their funerals. The command should be given to turn "about face" and all those there should remain that way until he and his entire administration as well as his family have left. The brothers should remain in the church until this ass hole has left. Under no circumstance should de Blowhard get a pass on this.

  The families are in shock and most likely are not fully aware that de Blowhard is even speaking to them. The widows, children, mothers and fathers all should refuse to shake this piece of shits hand when he attempts to do so.

  Again, de Blasio does indeed have blood on his hands for his actions and words. Charlatan has blood on his hands for his actions and words.

• Not to worry, de Blasio will have to hire outside contractors for his security force.

  • The NYPD should demand that happen, but you know that as a communist, he would be against a private security detail.

    • He would only be against it if he had to pay for it himself.

• It's a real bitch when your entire existence as a politician is based on ingratiating yourself to interest groups. Sooner or later, the interests of one (crimo's), clashes with another (union, police in this case).
