NYPD to Eliminate Plainclothes Anti-Crime Unit Despite Crime Surge. De Blasio should just send out open invitations to criminals and get it over with.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) on Monday announced that it is disbanding its anti-crime unit — a group of approximately 600 plainclothes police officers who blend in with the general population to combat crime — in the wake of protests and violent unrest over the death of George Floyd.

Just when you think the De Blasio administration cannot possibly get anymore destructive, they manage to get more destructive. By the time this fool gets done dismantling and handcuffing the police, New York City will be an utterly unlivable shithole.

So when the criminals start bashing in doors what will all the defunders cry about then? There’s a fight coming, coming soon and every American will have to pick a side.

Wasn't too far off the mark, IN Atlanta tonight 5 of six police districts(They call them zones) had officers call out sick in mass aster the local D.A. charged the officer involved in the shooting there with capital murder. Last count over 500 calls stacked (Pending) and many of the dispatchers also called in sick. Time to see if the demotards really want to defund the police.
Also would be a great time for the Blue Flu in L.A.. In the peoples republic of Kalifornia, police can not strike, but they can call in sick in mass. The city just told all those officers that worked 100 hour weeks, and worked 40 million in Overtime they won't get paid for it. They can have comp time instead but no idea what year they will be able to take it.
Almost forgot the Mayor of Atlanta panicked and call the surrounding towns and the Fulton County Sheriff to ask for help, they ALL refused. Even the Georgia Highway Patrol said it would only investigate traffic accidents.
What a clusterfuck. The lesbian police chief was a coward and resigned right when leadership was needed most, the mayor is nothing but a pandering politician who went on TV and figuratively lynched the poor officer ten minutes after the incident, and the DA is fighting for his career because he's under investigation by the GBI for spending money meant for a charity on himself. Good grief. If you put all that in a movie people would say it was too outrageous to be believable.
The DA is clearly trying to save his bacon by charging the officer with murder. Trouble is, in his rush to charge he ruined any chance to investigate. Normally there would be a shooting investigation, like with any case where a police officer discharges his weapon, but now that both officers are under legal threat they naturally won't be allowed to participate in that investigation by their lawyers. So the DA ruined any chance the city had to ascertain the facts of the case. They'll be going into the trial flying completely blind. And when he announced that a Taser is not a deadly weapon? The idiot just charged two other officers for using their Tasers and called it a deadly weapon! He's contradicted himself in two different charges merely a week or so apart! He already looks stupid and we haven't even begun the trial process.
