  • Wow... NYT not telling us is the muslim's fault is an issue and all of that and I understand it, but that is not the important issue here.

    Among all of their other evil uses, Muslims/Islam is once again a tool of destruction and now using diseases. I mean what next? It is almost as if "someone" is desperate to get rid of all the humans of the Earth in every possible way.

      I beg your pardon for this intrusion KQ, however I feel deep distress in not being able to converse with ya and i think it's because I said being color blind was a crock. If this is the case, then please understand the reason I know this is because if you aren't aware of a person's or peoples' color, you will never have any hope of empathizing and sympathizing without prejudice.

  • Maybe if the State of Islam wasn't stuck in the Dark Ages, science would make a dent in their consciousness, and they'd vaccinate their kids (of course Jenny McCarthy and Mayim Blalik aren't helping), Polio would still be basically irradiated. Instead, we are all being pulled back into the Dark Ages, repeat with the return of the Crusades.

    • Sadly, that return to the dark ages has occurred over the last 4-5 decades. Before that, they were relatively normal.

  • Interesting how proglodytes would loudly proclaim themselves to be such advocates of child welfare in rooting out supposed threats to their safety in assaulting the rights of law abiding citizens to bear arms- yet when the case couldn't be clearer concerning the cause of a public health threat that places the well being of children in such peril these same presumed child health and welfare stalwarts whose concern for the most vulnerable appear crippled... I guess that it's more important to protect the feelings of terrorists and their sympathizers than it is to get to the root of a potential public health threat? Those drips deserve a Salk in the mouth... or not.

      • MERSA . Is our own home grown nightmare. Resultant of poor compliance with antibiotic therapy and careless prescribing for viruses that are unaffected by antibiotics, plus theoretically antibiotics in food production.

          • I eat the hell out of gluten. In fact, you might say I'm a glutton for gluten. I always suspected the saturated fat/heart disease link was bs too.

          • When I went on my diet last year, I cut carbs and increased protein, adding much fatty foods, I lost 35 lbs, my cholesterol went down, and my EKG is still coming out fine.

          • I actually saw some bottled water the other day that was labeled gluten free. I'm not kidding.

It isn't health, it's just one more way to destroy the nutritional content of Our food. Unless you have specific disease processes going on, YOU DO NOT NEED TO EAT GLUTEN FREE!

          • My brother came back from Vietnam with TB and had to spend something like six months in a quarantined hospital. That used to be normal. It's how we beat TB and stopped its spread. Now, I keep reading about people with TB asserting their rights. Not only do we not forcibly quarantine them, we let them ride in our airplanes and everything else. I don't get it. I'm a civil libertarian but quarantines for people with dangerous infectious diseases seems like common sense to me. I don't want people with TB sitting next to me in airplanes and I don't want people with leprosy making my burger at MacDonald's.
