• Uh, this started happening before Obama became President.

  According to the MSNBC article that the Weekly Standard blog post links to:
  "The FDA finalized plans to phase out the products in 2008 and currently only Armstrong Pharmaceutical's Primatene mist is available in the U.S."

• I can't even bear to listen to him anymore. I'm not sure what it is - the cadence of his speech, the intonation, the shit dribbling out the corners of his mouth, but there's something there that bugs the crap out of me.

  • This man is a fool - a court jester...asthma is not some silly little ailment such as a cold - you can do all the preventin ya want - it ain't ever gonna go away - and sometimes when ya have an asthmatic attack ya need a lot more than ya can provide out in the field - asthma can lead to other things also - increased allergies, pneumonia, and death.

    My boy wound up in the hospital 3 times so far -twice for asthmatic attacks and once for pneumonia - he wouldn't be with us no more were it not for them doctors at the hospital - and we do all the stuff that is needed to try to help the boy with it so's he don't end up in a coffin.

    And ya have this clown boppin round on a stage - talkin bout something he clearly knows nothin about - and a bunch of idiots clappin and cheerin him on...

    Just down right embarrassin', yes sir it surely is.

    • I've got the same problems. i wonder what they'll replace my inhaler with because it (ProAir HFA) has the flourocarbons in it. But it works. God knows what the next device will do.

      • Proair is the replacement for the old albuterol inhalers. The HFA indicates it has no flourocarbons in it. Liek Zopenex. They are both Leva;buterol Tartrate, a modified version of albuterol. Glad your works for you. You are the first asthmatic I have EVER heard that felt the proair or zopenex inhalers worked for them! As fo rthis tape, babble, babble, babble. It is my understanding (which may be vastly wrong-its hard picking out the facts) that the new regulations are going to be applied to the over the counter epinephrine inhalers. Our albuterol inhalers have already been screwed up and the cost increased x about 10.

        • sa-thanks for the info. I end up going through a single in about 1/2 the time I'm supposed to have it. It doesn't work that well but it's better than nothing.
