  • How can any thinking human being sit and listen to a speech from this total phony. The first time I heard him I thought, "bullshitting blow hard, phony." Nothing has changed my mind. Yet the elites, media leg humpers, and academics worship this gas bag. At least the S4B's and life's losers love him because he is handing out the freebees to them.

  • I'm down here near Disneyland. Hopefully the traffic jams in San Francisco won't affect me down here, but you never know.

        • I was an airline brat, been all over. Pretty cool as a kid, only reason I'm able to say I've been to all three if you include Magic Mountain.

          • Magic Mountain was my favorite, because I'm a roller coaster freak. Then there was the 80's, when MM had an amazing lineup of concerts. One year, I bought a couple of season passes for fifty dollars each, and went to MM at least a dozen times.

            We saw The Police, Oingo Boingo, Missing Persons, The Stray Cats, Sparks, Johnny Cash, and Chuck Berry, all from front row center.

He has to get his 'FIX' there before having to go to Martha's Vineyard for '16 days' and having to look at and put up with Mooch. Why don't this rootsmoocher just take a perminenet vacation--destination HELL?

          • You have no reason to be in the corner, he emailed me yesterday hoping that nobody would remember, because he didn't want to add that extra year on, and he thought if nobody remembered, he wouldn't get older. Besides, it's not like you don't have anything else on your mind, and he should forgive you when you consider all of his transgressions!

          • no kidding...now I am dealing with a HVAC failure (on top of everything else), with carbon monoxide leaking into the house rather than being vented outside. And guess what...they can't find the location of the leak.

          • UM, why are you using the heat in the summer?
            If you are having carbon monoxide leaking into the house, have them check the water heater, it is gas, isn't it?

          • I sold my house and will be moving soon, anyway they did an inspection of the HVAC. everything was fine until they turned on the heat to make sure it was in good working order. That's when they detected the CO. none found when they turned on the dryer, range or when they checked in the room with the water heater which is in a completely different area of the house. Sauna isn't gas...anyway, no cracks can be found in the heat exchanger, yet no CO until it was turned on. so now a 3rd heating and air guy is coming out to try and get it figured out and fixed so I can go through with the sale of the house. I swear if it isn't a tree, it's a dog and if it isn't a dog it's carbon monoxide.

            Funny thing about trying to sell the house, one guy was going to put an offer in until he realized he would not be allowed to put pigmy goats on the property. Seriously, pigmy goats, in this neighborhood? What was he thinking?

          • LOL, pigmy goats? Sheesh.
            Maybe it was just a flash of CO, and not a constant thing? Sometimes when you turn on the heat after a while of it being off, it might "burp" and toss out a bit. Did they air out the heater area and check again with the heat on for a couple of minutes? It could have come from the damper in the vent pipe between the heater and chimney. But then, without seeing the unit, it's tough for me to troubleshoot from here. ;-)
            BTW, I used to be an HVAC tech, so I'm not just poking and hoping. I was pretty good at gas heat service.

          • Well, if I might suggest, you can get a portable unit at Home Depot for about $35. It would be cheaper to buy one and test it out yourself than to hire someone. Then you will know for sure. You can also take it with you to your new digs, so you are safe in the future.

          • nope, this is an older home so no detectors. All I know is we had a particularly long winter here and I was running the furnace well into April with no problems. We weren't getting headaches, we weren't lethargic, no signs of even mild carbon monoxide poisoning

          • That's a very good idea. BTW, do you have a CO detector in that area? If so, has it ever gone off? If it hasn't. then they are likely bullshitting you.

          • to be honest, I think it's BS, I think they are scamming me (or at least trying too) because they see the house is sold and I am under the gun so to speak. I'm calling a third party that is neither the buyer's hvac contractor (possibly trying to get me to purchase an expensive item that isn't needed), nor the home warranty's contractor (that may be trying to get out of an expensive claim). See the problem is I haven't been home when these guys have been there to inspect the furnace, and my kids, well, they are kids, they haven't a clue. So I have asked my neighbor who I trust to the ends of the Earth (he has helped me numerous times) to be present while I am working to supervise the next one.

            I hope they find the leak and it doesn't cost much to repair.

          • I already yelled @ her (quietly) and told to get out of the corner, get to work and stop being sorry. I did the exact opposite of what JP did last time and was being a weasel and playing emu hoping nobody would notice. :P
