• The motivation is that Al-Quaida retaliate with a major attack on US soil.

  If preparations against an epidemic comes with fall 2014 due to Ebola reaching CONUS, an Al-Qaeda biological attack may have only mitigated effects by spring 2015 so they may well launch such an attack soon.

  The obvious effects of a biological warfare attack would be panic and chaos, this in turn would justify declaring martial law and indefinite detention before November.

• What ISIL really needs is some visits from Puff the Magic Dragon.

• in last night's speech, POTUS mentioned the christians in need of being saved from that mountain, however directly afterwards went on to make it more important that there were minorities up on that mountain that needed to be saved. we need to make sure the POTUS always knows he's saving minorities or he won't be saving anyone at all. okay? let's work on that angle with him. it's a special sweet spot for the guy. works like a charm in the arena of social media with his leftard minions. in fact, we ought to just make the POTUS an automated job where it tweets issues w/ corresponding buzz words and waits a day or two for the masses to retweet & comment as to how to respond to each issue.

  • An interesting point about those "minorities" on the mountain, a point completely ignored by the MSM, is that they are devil worshipers. The Yazidi worship the Peacock Angel, whose other name is Shaytan, the name for Satan in the Koran. According to the Yazidi, Shaytan is misunderstood (or something). He was a fallen archangel (just as Christians and Muslims say) but he was reconciled with God and is now the most powerful of the archangels, entrusted by God with care of humanity.

    Whatever you think about the Yazidi religion, don't you find it interesting that Christians have been victims of genocide all across the Middle East for Obama's entire term in the White House, but he finally gets riled up and protective when a bunch of Satanists get in trouble?

      I am not sure I understand these people's religion. It sounds WHACK, however, I don't agree that they should be persecuted, mainly and perhaps selfishly because I don't want my Brothers and Sisters in Christ to be persecuted either. They have some crazy (to me) religion mixing Persian/Babylonian deities into one deity and I don't know... weird. It is very possible that they have been HEAVILY deceived or willingly accepting of a deception, however, I say the same thing of Muslims as I believe that their allah is Satan, and they are even MORE deceived or even more willingly accepting of a deception because they are equating their allah to the one true YWH, which in my opinion is seriously whack.

      In any case, Obama barely mentions the Christians and goes on and on about these other group and even Kristen Powers is like scratching her head and she can't believe he did that.

      Again I am not down with the persecution of anyone. Let them do whatever the hell they want to do in peace. In the end, regardless of their believes the Muslims are always in the wrong, however, let's be truthful here that it is completely insane for Obama and others to feel that they have to protect these people in such a hurry but don't have that hurry when it comes to Christians.

    • All ISIS cares is that they don't worship Moe. So they must die. I don't care who they worship. Islam wants to kill them because they're infidel, so the right thing to do is kill Muslims.

      • I agree. In the end, it doesn't matter what they believe in, the important thing is to get Muslims out of the way as they are always in the wrong. These people (it is my understanding) are rather peaceful overall if that is true, there is no reason to persecute them based solely on their religion being different.

• Strikes me that it is an easy cop-out - a mountainside in Iraq, against some ground-fighters without air superiority or support? A push-over, for a weak namby-pamby president.
