That article was ambiguous, is Obama headed to Europe for the 4th or is the Obama campaign (spearheaded by George Clooney) organizing ex-pat fundraisers in Europe?
I know Obama doesn't like words like "freedom" and 'independence" but is he foolish and arrogant enough to ignore our most sacred national holiday?

Update: I goolged Obama's plans for the 4th, he'll be at Camp David June 30 to July 3rd and return to the White House on the 4th where he'll host a BBQ for military families and then deliver a perfunctory and insincere speech that no one will take seriously.

That's what I figured last night after I thought about it. That is a campaign fundraiser, but he wouldn't be there. They could just put up a cardboard cut out of him and let people pose next to it for pictures!

Exactly, how is this legal to accept foreign contributions? Back in January of 2012: In a terse four words, the Supreme Court on Monday issued an order upholding prohibitions against foreigners making contributions to influence American elections.
Really good question. How will these dollars be funneled legally into Bare-ack's campaign stash? I'm sure there's some kind of "legal" way that they are doing this, which is bad enough, but the arrogance of holding these events on or even around the 4th of July is just unacceptable.
I didn't even think about that... The President cannot accept donations nor gifts from foreign nations/leaders that could lead him to be compromised. However it has already happen as he sold a lot to the Chinese and Putin will have to give him some time (after the election) for Obamie to be of service. It is really disgusting.
