This absolutely makes no sense unless this is a favorite hang out among Conservatives. It is truly stupid to me. The only thing that I can think of is that this is an historical place that seems to idealize 17th or 18th century USA and perhaps they feel that since there was slavery then it shouldn't be idealized? I don't know perhaps grasping at straws here, but if that the case it is stupid. Seriously what is the purpose here?
Anything he can do to cause inconvenience or actual harm to an American. That's his aim. Thinking that by doing these kinds of things, he's showing America that the Republicans are against them. Without fail, some leftist will comment that "Obamacare is LAW! Get over it!" To which I reply, "There are laws on the books about illegal immigration. When is Obama going to enforce those laws?"
In today's J.P.'s Moment of Common Sense, I mention Obama's penchant for using the phrase "law of the land" in reference to Obamacare. But awkward stuff in the Constitution like it being the House's responsibility to decide how money will be spent, that kind of stuff he ignores.

And notice the "NPS sent law enforcement agents to the park on Tuesday evening to remove staff and volunteers from the property." So because of a budget impasse interrupting federal funding, they sent paid federal employees to evict non-federal privately-funded employees.
The average IQ in the Obama administration would be an interesting factoid to know. It's got to be a record.
