WHAT???????? While bitching about the county's need for spending cuts and trying to eliminate proper funding (like for the military, the Social Security system that has been robbed blind, etc) and they got a RAISE? Seriously? Must be nice. Most of the places I worked offered a max of a 3% raise at the end of the year IF you walked on water and were faster than a speeding bullet. And we didn't get near the other perks that Congress gets like a fantastic health care system, pensions, housing etc.
Oh I think they should get a raise. We Love to pay people for not working. They had to get a raise to show the other non working moochers that you absolutly deserve to be rewarded for doing SHIT!!!!
No one deserves a raise, actually no one deserves to be paid. This is why I believe that most people in politics should be independently wealthy and forgo a pay or have second jobs that they can attend to while still doing the representative work. I really don't think it is appropriate for government representatives to be paid. Only the military and non representative (people we don't vote for but are useful for government purposes) should be paid in my humble opinion and with that not paid crazy and not given crazy benefit packages.
Nice to see that regular joe and all the others got a raise with our damn money. Joey lives free on us already. Shouldn't his ass be paying us rent for living at the Naval Observatory? Just saying, his living arrangements alone are a pay increase.
So what's "Dear Leader" going to use as an excuse? He gave them a raise to keep them ethical?
Someone explain to me how a raise can be granted through an executive order when the Constitution requires any spending laws to originate in the House?
He is the smartest man to ever occupy Man's Country and Larry Sinclair, as well as being the smartest Constitutional Law professor ever to trod the Constitution, so who are we to suggest that his blatant circumvention of Constitutional law isn't Constitutional? That's why allah created executive order in the the first place. Am I getting this about right? It is the only way, it is 0bama's way.
