They"ll spin it so it is a 28.6% increase in electric cars on the road since he took office. Brian Williams will lap up the memo from the WH and spin this great achievement for glorious comrade leader.
I am waiting to buy one until after they name a model for Obama. Then I'll cash in my retirement funds to purchase my 'Liar 10 Trillion' E-vehicle, equipped with the latest Governmet Moters ignition technology, and entertainment system pre-loaded with all of Der Leader's great speeches (that means all of them). I'll attach a 'yes we can' 2008 O bumper sticker and then ride in the left lane of a freeway, west into the now much cleaner environment, just under the speed limit, until the thing runs out of juice or catches fire, which ever comes first. Maybe an hour?
Being poorer after that, but still neeeding a green car, I'll purchase another Obamamobile. The economy model 'Liar 44', no radio but with speeches of Der Leader blaring from the speakers with no off switch. Then I'll repeat the process. After another 30 minutes or so, again carless and also now moneyless, I walk home feeling green. I will have saved the environment.

the technology was never at the point of production line ready, this was about giving his supporters (unions) tax payers money, obama's idea of distribution of wealth (if you work, he takes and gives to those who won't).
