Obama Pushes More Federal Oversight of Cops After Dallas Attack on Cops

• As usual, BO's primary threat is to yank Federal funding for local police and sheriffs who don't get with the program. Local jurisdictions should understand by now that shooting the government fiscal heroin into your municipal veins is a surrender of sovereign power. This is not a healthy trend, to put it mildly.

  • Federal police force… let's think here. Where has that been tried before?

• This president ( << intentionally left off the caps ) had the potential and public support to make positive sweeping changes in our country. He even ran on the promise to do so. Hope, change and transparency. Yet every opportunity he's had to make a positive change, he chose to drive the wedge in deeper. As commander in chief, his job is to support the people he is in command of. Not once has he come out and made a scathing speech that absolutely and unconditionally condemns violence against the people charged with enforcing the laws of this country.

  As a role model for all African Americans, he had the opportunity to guide the black community out of the depths of victimhood and despair. They came out in force and voted for him, so we know they would have listened. Yet he never took the role of leader. teacher, role model. Instead he's stuck with status quo that devolves into violence, rioting and more hate. This man allowed a comedian to call him "my niggah" at an official WH press function. He didn't stand and protest, no, he positively acknowledged it with a smile and 'feel the love for you' fist bump to his own chest. A man, a leader, a positive role model would have stood and had this clown removed from the stage and immediately given speech on why such language is damaging to black Americans and unnacceptable even if you are black. So many opportunities and chances to make a difference, to enact a positive change, all squandered away.

  Once again, he could come and tell the people that fighting the police, resisting and mouthing off will increase your chances of dying. This applies to all races BTW. But he doesn't. He had to put conditions on it. Blame the guns, blame the 2A, blame everything and anyone but the asshole pulling the trigger.

  • From your description it almost appears that this POTUS is a pathological liar with every intent to deceive and divide. Perhaps this is a genetic trait dating back to his forefathers, who were BTW involved in the Mau Mau movement of Kenya to remove the British. Regardless, I doubt he will return his Nobel Peace Prize, a useless artifact of liberal dreams and aspirations. Alfred Nobel's main discovery has proved much more successful in fostering peace than any self-congratulatory 'peace prize' - guilt is an ugly emotion, often useless.

    Which leads to the concept, does this president feel any guilt for all the pain and suffering he has caused, the weakness he has fostered upon this great nation? I don't see any sign of humility, which often accompanies guilt. All I see is further bombast or a rushing to a new created crisis. Government attacks on the Christian church, a weakening of America's Armies and Navy, inflated regulations for almost everything while all the time driving America further into bankruptcy. Oh, and lest I should forget, the attacks upon accepted morality by an extreme minority of American citizens....and he want's a 3rd term in office. Maniacal and delusional at the same time. Amazing.

    Unfortunately, there aren't sufficient words capable of actually describing just how bad of a president he actually is.
    What scares me, is that I'm not convinced that the choices we currently face, are going to be any better.

• So the plan is to eventually make it so the police won't be able to arrest anyone unless they choose to get arrested? Yet we hear complaints about how the police are slow to respond in some areas. You either want the police or you don't. Let's have an election and let each district decide if they want police protection or not. I'm sure the police would be in favor of such an idea. Why should cops risk their lives when any decision they make could be a career ender or lead to jail.

• I know this isn't going to be a popular post but i thought i would mention the following:

  *BHO took the oath of office w/ Lincoln's bible.
  *He stated to Boehner (and his name still comes up as Boner in spell-check, BTW) that "I won."
  *History is written by the winners.
  *Doesn't matter who did what and what the actual facts of any circumstances are, those will all be recorded as US History as this Admin wants it recorded, for the record... meaning, as in the history books that will be read all over the world.
  *If you've noticed, all our so-called leaders have been making all sorts of nonsensical declarations, and that can only mean that those ALSO will all be recorded as empirical and historical truth.
  *BHO stated at the beginning of his Admin that he came to transform America.
  *All sorts of protest groups have been doing just that.
  *The Admin has enlisted Hollywood to make a variety of non-stop films that relate to exactly what's going on.. in case you haven't noticed them and especially their titles. One recent one has Civil War in its title... hint, hint.
  *VJ had uttered a condemnation against anyone who isn't on their side...
  *While many feel they can stand up to a vagabond group of crazies, they seem to have missed signs such as the women at West Point posing with fists in the air. Our military just may be the new "Union Army" versus the unorganized private gun owners scattered throughout this land. I say unorganized b/c most people are willing to defend themselves, their immediate families and perhaps the neighborhood they live in.
  *Watch for ultimatums soon.

  PS - My warning for the immediate: Be careful eating anywhere, especially at fast-food joints. All these groups of angry lawless birds, whether they are BHO, Hillary, or Bernie fans, are out for blood. That is my latest premonition, and i have had lots come true so far the past few years.
