Obama: The only people with the right to object to immigration are Native Americans. How we long for the good old days when Presidents affirmed the government’s responsibility to protect our rights instead of insisting that we don’t have them.

  • So I was born here, technically I am a "Native American"... we all are unless you immigrated from somewhere else. I believe in the Peoples Comunist Republic of Berkeley and other liberal shitholes they call native Americans Indigenous people...they even have a day. So again Obutthead misspoke, and having that is mind as a native America, I say NO to Illegal Immigration!

  • Isn't everyone a "native" of somewhere? All of my ancestors back at least through my grand parents and probably my great grandparents were born in the United States of America - as was I. I have never been to Europe. If I am not a "native American" what is my native country?

  • I guess his advisers haven't enlightened him to the fact that the "Native" Americans immigrated here also?

    • I also love the comments about how we came here and took everything from them. They were actually killing each other pretty efficiently before we came here. We also did not skirt their laws or governments to come here.

      • Exactly. They fought wars against each other over resources and territory (lust like all humans do) then along came a tribe from across the ocean, joined in those wars and won.

        Were the Europeans supposed to refrain from the wars because they were Varsity and the Native Americans were Junior Varsity?

        It was humans fighting other humans. Nothing unusual about it.

        And as for the idea that it's somehow still "their continent," the Europeans have built infrastructure to such a point that they can, at this point, certainly lay claim to this continent.

        • Therefore, if people are coming here outside the established laws of the country, they should be considered an invading force and be met with equal force. If they cannot hold their own in a battle, then they should not be allowed to conquer the country. We have established laws for coming to this country. So you can follow the laws or attempt to conquer the US.

          I guarantee you the second would not end well for anyone (except MAYBE China and Russia).

            But Obama is trying for some sort of mushy third option. "Well, you stole that, but we'll say you took it without exactly paying for it, blah, blah, blah..."

          • Or, as I've often said, there will never be a decent man in the White House, because no decent man would do what it takes to get there. Ronald Reagan came the closest to proving me wrong, and I would like very much to see Dr. Carson prove me entirely wrong.

          • Like Washington. I've told my wife that I would likely run for state office or HoR or Senate later in life, not because I want the job, but because I don't care for those that do want it.

            How does one convey that?

  • I am anxiously awaiting the primaries, so we can find out which loser the RNC is supporting to run against either Hitlery or Fauxchahontas.
    It will mean that we are that much closer to losing this asshole occupier.

    BTW, if you don't already know, my father passed a week ago today at 10:30 am. Because of Thanksgiving, we had to accelerate the process of the viewing and funeral, and it was all finished Wednesday. I think it was good that it was done fast, because it kept my mother from dwelling on it for too long. I never understood 2-3 day viewings anyway. We got home last night at 5:30, and were exhausted.

    • Sorry to hear that, my condolences. My wife just lost her father awhile back. Tough to deal with.

        He had Parkinson's for 8 years and Acute Leukemia, which he was just diagnosed with in mid September. That is the most aggressive form. We left Florida at noon on Friday the 21st and got to their house in NJ at 8:30 am on Sat the 22nd. He was still awake when we got there, but about 1/2 hour after, he closed his eyes and never opened them again. We did Skype with my niece in Germany, and even though he didn't open his eyes, he did react to hearing her voice. We were talking with the hospice nurse Mon morning, and when she went to take his vitals, he was gone. They say that many people don't want anyone in the room when they go, and I believe he was one of those. As the eldest, I was tapped to deliver the eulogy, which I completely fell apart during, but everyone understood. He was a special man, who gave up much of his free time to make money to send the 3 of us to private school through 8th grade. He wanted to make sure we had a good education. Private high school was just too pricey for a blue collar government employee in the 1970's.

        • I am glad your back, sorry about your loss. Like I said, when you sit down and decompress, Poor a drink, toast the old man, and think about the good times. And have one on me.
