I am surprised there is no story about the buffalo (two I think) that attacked and destroyed a Barrycade -or a couple of Barrycades- (I believe it was the Grand Canyon?) last week.
This goes under the "In case you didn't know G-d has a sense of humor y'all" file.
The buffalo could have completely ignored it, but they went for it/them with some serious hate. After the first run in you would figure they would just leave it alone as it is immobile and not a danger. Go find the video it is worth your time.

I think that there is something else going on. Americans that care for their history and make plans to visit these sites TEND to be patriotic. Probably a good number are TEA Party members or sympathizers so they are probably thinking they are hurting them.
This is utterly ridiculous and disgusting. We need to stay focused here. This is a government using its powers to punish its citizen. This is bad.
This reminds me of that part of "Dr. Zhivago" (the movie haven't read the book) where he and his family went to their home in the country and it was all boarded up. A private home was boarded up because it was the home of a rich person and indeed it is illegal to be rich. Of course their home in the city was commandeered and people were living in there like rats. Disgusting. The most disgusting thing of course was that they didn't go inside their home! These ladies did the right thing.
Or when he gets home after the Revolution and their family home has been turned into a tenement. The residents are burning priceless antiques and paintings to stay warm because there no fuel because the government is screwed up. Sound familiar? And yes, the folks most likely to be interested in history and monuments and memorials ARE conservative. Has anyone heard, is the MLK eyesore open?

I am not disputing the claim, the problem I have is alex jones is a nut, a few years ago he had claims that the Gov was being controlled by lizard people from another planet, then he had these so called fema death camps, hundreds of thousands of body bags at the read for disposal of dead humans. Then there was the claim that in a city in texas this one town was being taken over by the federal gov. And lets not forget the chem trails he is fond of spouting off about. All of those claims were false. I love this site. I agree with alot of what is said here but to elevate alex jones to a competent source in my view lowers the standards of this site.

And (after some quick research) it turns out you are flat-out lying about the lizard people inference. He interviewed a man who proposed that theory at the very end of the interview - much to Jones' disgust. Later, Jones talked about how everything the man said was spot-on and thoroughly documented until he mentioned his weird lizard people theory, which Alex Jones labeled "like dropping a turd in the punch bowl."
