Have you not noticed? This is the Age of Stupid, during which administrations MUST be run by witless, gutless lunatics.
Typical examples:
1 USA - Obama
2. Former UK - Cameron/Clegg
3. France - Hollande
4. EU/Fourth Reich - Juncker/von Rumpoy
5. The New Caliphate of wherever - Baghdadi & divers Muslim fanatics
There are exceptions, of course, like Australia (who have seen the light) - Abbott.
The list is probably endless. You may add your own selection.
I won't believe Abbott is wise until he revokes the gun confiscation law that was enacted.
I can't believe how LBJ gets a pass. Have we forgotten already how bad that guy was? I'd put him with the all-time worst.
LBJ does belong on that list, but compared to King Barky, he's a piker.
After having read a few books written by fighter pilots in Vietnam, with their opinions of how the war was ran, I'd say LBJ is pretty damned incompetent. But for people who've studied Vietnam at all, just imagine if Obama were running it.
At least LBJ realized he was incompetent and refused to run for a second term.
don't forget, he loved his dogs, but not with ketchup, nor curry.

I've been saying this for the past six years.
There were many awful Presidents before WWII. Some who would give Obama a legitimate run for it.
I don't know why they drew the line at WWII
They were afraid Wilson or FDR might beat him out?
