  • I watched this interview three times. Emanuel looked like he wanted to call big brother to send over one of the union boys to bash Chris Wallace right in the face.

    Emanuels lied their asses off about keeping your doctor and pre existing conditions. Now that the truth is coming out, people are losing their doctors and in many cases are beginning to come to the realization that if they have a deadly disease, the death panels are kicking in just as was warned.

    When Emanuel finally admitted that people are not going to be able to keep their doctors he tried every way possible to wiggle off the hook. Wallace wouldn't let him get away with it. The old man would have been proud of the pounding he gave Zeke.

    As for all those buyers into the free health care scheme, hope you don't need your doctor or have pre existing conditions. You no longer can keep your doctor and you no longer have insurance that covers you. SUCKERS!!!

    • If you think Obamacare is bad now, just wait! I got this email from my Congressman today:

      This week, the Energy and Commerce Committee’s Health Subcommittee held a hearing to examine the impact Obamacare will have on Medicare Advantage – a program that is very popular among seniors in Florida’s 12th Congressional District. In order to fund the President’s health care law, more than $300 billion was cut from the program, ultimately compromising the program’s existence. During the hearing, I asked Mr. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, the former head of the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), his thoughts on these cuts and the future of the program. It is estimated that in 2017, when the Medicare Advantage provisions under Obamacare are fully phased in, enrollment will be reduced by about 50 percent, and Mr. Holtz-Eakin affirmed that these cuts will decimate the program.

      We are already seeing the negative impacts these significant cuts will have on Medicare Advantage, as providers shrink their networks and deny access in certain counties – regardless of whether individuals in these areas would like to keep these plans. Nationwide, 100,000 individuals will be denied access to Medicare Advantage this year due to these cuts. With 40 percent of the seniors in our district enrolled in Medicare Advantage (Source: CMS Office of Legislation), I am extremely concerned about how these cuts will impact their access to healthcare this year and especially as the provisions of the law are further implemented.

      Yet again, we are seeing that Obamacare is not fulfilling its promises. What happened to “if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it?” What happened to “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?” The issues with Obamacare extend beyond a broken website, they are the result of a broken law, and these empty promises are significantly impacting Americans across the country. We deserve both transparency and the truth, and it is unacceptable for hardworking Americans to have to pay the price for the inaccuracies Obamacare was sold on.

  • Actually Zeke, more and more doctors are going to stop accepting insurance altogether and start accepting cash.

    Then people will start paying LESS!

          • If anything do targeted legislation for TRUE abuses by the insurance companies. It is not okay for insurances to drop someone or not accept someone for diseases. If they have to pay more because of pre-conditions then so be it. Let there be true competition so people can have choices.

            Allow for national insurance carriers to get rid of the state monopolies.

            Get rid of certain taxes to employers and employees so employees can have and keep more money so they can take care of their own healthcare...

            Tort reforms to protect Doctors from frivolous lawsuits that carry up the price of insurance.

            There were other things that could have been done, but this law was just too complicated and too overreaching to do any good to anyone.

  • Well, I went back and listened to the tape, and sure enough, what BO said was actually "...if you like your doctor you're on your own..." That got garbled up by the right wing media just to make the Prez look bad.
    Seriously, how long can the Left go on pretending that Ocare is not a complete failure?

    • Of course they can't answer questions directly. These progressive twats are way too smart & way too wonky to answer a simple question. Problem is, they are not as smart as they believe & tend to lie to your face for "the greater good", & for political gain.

    • Took me a while to figure that out. Factor in their desire to ridicule you rather than debate you. Leads me to where I am today. I simply treat them with contempt. I get one of these guys spewing their BS at work and I no longer try to have a civil discussion. I simply let them know that they are "too fucking stupid to talk to" and walk away.

  • Actually the only thing obama has ever said that was true was, he wanted to change America, now like any other banana republic we have a dictator, a congress that is either purchased or willing to negotiate for future favors and a newly evolved parasitic class of of freeloaders. I can't understand why he has not been impeached, have we slide so far into corruption, greed, laziness?

    • Impeachment would kick off a state of civil unrest like we've never seen in this country. Nobody wants that. The best we can do is let this dumbfuck self-destruct. Take the gov't back in 2014 and let him languish for two years in lame duck misery. The poll numbers are showing the country is done with democrat led BS and the only thing that can prevent a Republican landslide is the creation of 20 million new democrat voters via immigration reform. It's imperative that everyone let their elected officials know that we don't want reform, but that we want enforcement. As it stands the rinos in charge are stupid enough to believe that if they go along with reform, that they will pick up voters. That won't happen.

All of the dumb assess like Boehner, Cantor, McInsane, Graham and McConnell are so damn stupid that they think they can persuade all those "new voters" to vote for republicans. All that the RINOs are doing is sucking up to the businesses that are pushing amnesty. Look at barrycare, if a business hires an immigrant, they get a 5 year delay in having to provide any type of health care coverage. So they are pushing for amnesty. The spin that there is a lack of talented Americans in certain fields is BULL SHIT.

    • Old zeke's brother rhammy and bronqobama are longstanding members of Chicago's exclusive club Man's Country. That zeke is too would come as know surprise. The ring of power in Chicago is quite something to behold. My work in that hellhole, shiny tho it is, had me in a certain level of privileged group. Drop the mayor's name and private number on whichever cop is hassling you and you're free to go. I'd drive as fast as the rental car would go, get pulled over on the interstate and show my card. "Have a nice day and could you slow down a little?" Mayor Bilandic and then Jane Byrne wanted everything to go smoothly or completely unreported. A significant difference between those to corruptocrats was Bilandic wasn't a tight wad.
