Obamacare effects hit local governments, small businesses, temp staffing agencies; Chicago dumps retirees into Obamacare

Obamacare effects hit local governments, small businesses, temp staffing agencies. “Birmingham, Mich. Commissioner Gordon Rinschler may have summed up best the reaction that countless businesses and governments are having to ObamaCare, saying: ‘We simply can’t afford the Affordable Care Act.'” Something rotten for everyone!

  • All part of the plan.

The point is to drive health insurance away from both employer and private plan and FORCE single-payer government down our throats.

Costs will be so much more controlled when lobbyists are in charge. Trust me.

    • Exactly. Though I think the Dems will fail to achieve that. Latest poll I saw shows over 60% now opposed to Obamacare. The scandals are wrecking his agenda, and given our free enterprise tradition, people will find a way to work around it. We are seeing that with doctors who are lowering their prices and accepting cash only. That way one only has to carry catastrophic coverage. Pretty much following the auto insurance model.

      • I believe that the plan all along was to make it so that only the big companies will end up paying the cost.
When they made the exemption for part timers and companies with fewer than 50 employees, it became easy for small business to avoid the law, but big companies like GE and Exxon can never reduce size enough to get away from it. Looks like Immelt didn't see far enough ahead to realize he was screwing himself.
Now the Obama plan to decimate big business is in full swing.

        • But as we all know it will be consumers footing the cost, because the companies will not take responsibility for the taxes. This could have been part of the plan as well or consequences that come out of greedy desires and to punish big companies.

        • If that's the case, they'll be going after the union belt. I can see it now, there're going to be pitched battles in the aisles at the next convention and people are going lose their eyes and hair.

  • Da no shit there Sherlock. But you helped get it through. Now that there's been time to read the damn thing, there's plenty of pain and suffering for all. Time to find that ultimate ambulance chaser and sue them all.
