  • Cheeeeeze, didn't gays just "win" their right to marry primarily for the benefits? Mwaahaaahaaahaaa. Ya can't make this stuff up.

Promote legitimate socially constructed institution among those that in all truth shouldn't partake on that (as per many people's personal beliefs/philosophies and based on legitimate and solid studies that show a serious tear in the social fabric), but do not promote it and in fact de-emphasize it for those that should partake on such an institution (results that are factually shown to be detrimental to the social fabric of civilizations). Perfect plan for those that hate human beings and what actually works for civilizations to thrive, and even perhaps hate G-d (both?).

    • Get rid of legitimate charities, that is a great plan, that way the government will be the only "charitable organization" in the game. How clever..

  • Hell, the welfare state has been destroying families for years....this is merely doubling down on that policy since it has worked so well.

    Single Mothers with multiple children are encouraged to stay single and give birth to more multiple children by providing them with welfare and other entitlements. Those that don't want to bother to even try to raise children can get essentially free abortions or near free on the tax payer's dime via "Planned Parenthood". So I mean, this is just part of everything that is destroying the fiber of our country.

    Two options: Sit back and enjoy the view, or do something. Even if it is a little something.

    • Obamacare is good as passed and we are finally getting to see what's in it.

      The Godless progressives hate moral responsibility and are gaining more and more influence and control. It should be the regressive movement because they are destroying the fiber of our country. I believe the spirit of anti-Christ is at work in the progressive movement.

        • and our dumba**ed republicans are trying to get it postponed for another year. Which will work in favor of the Dems for the mid-terms. They'll lambaste the Republicans for withholding FREE HEALTCHCARE to millions just to play political games. The media will support and repeat this false claim, ensuring enough Democrat victories to keep Reid in charge of the Senate. I say put the POS in effect today and let's see how it shakes out.

          • I believe that t is important to just let this crap play out. The doers and the producers will be angry (I hope) enough to just let the Dems have it. All in all, at this point in time, all the discussion and the blocks attempts have been made so just let it play out and destroy the economy and people should wake the hell up.

          • It is already in place then so I suppose if we cannot trust that people will vote for its repeal within a year or two we are already screwed.

          • This thing won't get repealed. The republicans aren't smart enough to realize we don't want anything done at all. They think they need to replace it with their plan. We want it repealed and leave the entire system alone.

          • I think you may be giving an excuse of ignorance (to what we want) when what it most likely boils down to is that they couldn't possibly care less beyond what happens on the first Tuesday in November of the particular election year depending on where in the term the Congressperson is.

            You're correct though- it won't get repealed. My bet is that the GOP will fall in line with every delay tactic that furnishes political coverage for the Progressives- though every corner will lurk an opportunity for a few individual "Republicans" to cast themselves in the role of taxpayer advocate and foil to the federal expansionists- in order to remain as unchecked as possible progressivism requires that there be as convincing as possible the illusion that dissenting voices are being heard and heeded- so the Republicans have a permanent place- albeit symbolic- at the Emperor's table.

          • You could also say that the anti slavery laws created after the civil war were repealed when the Federal Reserve was established.

      • Also many whites and hispanics and random people who just don't want to work or have a responsible life. It is a problem throughout the entire population of the USA.

        • I have a couple of friends that need and are on disability and they both vote only democrat. They are convinced that democrats will take care of them and are afraid of republicans and their efforts to control government waste. I have tried to explain that their benefits are in greater danger from excessive waste and the spreading of available benefits to those that could get by without it. It may take a collapse of government for many to open their eyes and it will be a rude awakening.

          • Right what they don't understand is that making sure there is no waste MEANS that they will be taking care of correctly and absolutely without fear of the money running out DUE to the waste. It is simple, I don't quite understand why ppl have a problem understanding that. Also when more people have more of their own money, it means that there is more money flowing out to charities and organizations that would be more than happy to accomodate if/when the govt help is not sufficient.

          • Most get limited news from the progressive alphabet channels. Right after their local news they get brainwashed by Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer, and Scott Pelley. You also have outrageous campaign ads like Paul Ryan pushing granny over the cliff. No wonder they can't see the big picture. What's sad is they take the word of these charlatans over their friends.

          • It is another form of slavery. Economic slavery may not be as physically savage as physical slavery, but it is evil.

          • wouldn't those who are retired or on disability be swayed into picking a candidate who will keep their social security checks coming? It's the same reason I've heard here for not wanting welfare recipients to vote.

          • Retirees or disabled are more likely to vote intelligently, because they had to work for a living and know what it's all about. I'd rather take my chances with their votes than yours.

          • Those who took out huge home equity loans are just as at fault for abusing easy credit as those back in the 70s who abused the easy credit of the newly debt based currency.

          • Howso, there's tons of people abusing disability. And those who are retired are the ones who were around when Corporate Greed stole the gold so it's there fault we are in this situation in the first place.

            Besides, how can you say I didn't vote intelligently. I voted for Ron Paul, rather then being swayed by the corrupt 2 party system.
