ObamaCare transforming America into Part-Timer Nation? Perverse incentives: ObamaCare requires companies to provide health insurance to employees working an average of at least 30 hours per week, so companies have begun experimenting with changing over entire staffs to part-time work. No doubt this will require another gubbermint “solution” until the companies go out of business and the entire staff can then qualify for Medicaid.

The owners of businesses have to make choices. Stay in business and hire only part time people or less than 49 people or go out of business. All brought to you by the letter O and the number 0.
America looks more and more like Europe everyday. Work part-time, drink some vino, sit around and do nothing. Obama has accomplished a lot in only four years. To bad it will take several decades to reverse, if it's even possible to reverse.
It is reversible but it will take enormous political will.
Not blazing any new trails here but I'm doing the Hillsdale College Constitution classes and part of the second course is reading the source material of the Progressive Era...Wilson's and Dewey's work mostly....and it is clear through the reading that the supremacy of the state and the permanent welfare schemes are parts of the long term-plan to move beyond what the Founders intended. What is different is that the early Progressives were very imperialistic, which is 180 degrees away from todays's liberals. This historical perspective coupled with the D'Souza thesis of neo-colonialism provides good context for how the currently configured Democratic party is operating. Very sinister from a conservative's POV.
