Message to WH: when you lose Joe Klein, you're losing the argument.

In other words Klein believes its the job of the GOP: 1) to embrace "activist government" and make sure that it runs smoothly and, 2) to save the Dems from from their political, social and economic follies.
Still, making the government more efficient is a good idea, but efficency should merely be a precursor to shrinking the size of government.
I think Obama has little or no interest in implementing Obamacare, he's more interested in campaigning, vacationing and golf. I also think that Obamacare was meant to fail, that way the Left can then move to destroy the private health care industry entirely, blaming it for the fiasco that is Obamacare.
Shrinking the government nearly guarantees a more efficient government, but I don't think the GOP can do it, and they certainly can't do it alone. Maybe Mr. Klein needs to speak with his Democratic brothers and sisters in arms and explain the problem to them so they'll quit blocking every single vote on anything even vaguely conservative.
Boy that must have hurt passing through the grey matter in the cranium. Yet Kline is unable to admit that his unicorn and fairy dust world is nothing more than lies and deceit.
I don't think it was, as written, intended to "work". It was to serve as a 'framework' or 'platform' for a never ending churning of the system till it's exhausted and collapses when full government takeover of healthcare (and everyone's life) would be implemented.
This eventuality will be decided by how egregious the interim period becomes. But anyone with a lick of sense knew from the start that it was a trick.
Not a trick, a tool, by which they gain control over the biggest revenue generating business in the country.
The other shoe drops at last. The Dems force Obamacare down the public's throat and now that it's startling to look like the massive clusterfark the left want the Republicans to help "fix" it so it works. Somebody send McCain out of the country.
